JottingsLay listening to the wind all night. The idea of the Holy Spirit as "ruach", "breath", "wind" is both comforting and disturbing. Who has ever chained the wind? How powerful it is, how likely to spring up when least expected; and in an old house like ours, how it whips and tugs at every corner! Let us pray that the Spirit of God may be with us all today.
